We strive to:

To contribute positively to the musical environment of the area we serve.
To provide an opportunity for individual musical expression and growth among the membership.
To provide an opportunity for contact between musicians of varying proficiencies for the purpose of continued
musical growth as well as community fellowship.
To reaffim the community concert band position in American music.

The Prairie Winds Concert Band provides an opportunity for area instrumentalists to continue playing and performing in the context of the concert band, while serving the West Central area as a provider of musical entertainment and community involvement.

The summer version of the PWCB has started it's outdoor concerts in Rice Park, Willmar. Join us for free concerts with free popcorn and water. Bring your lawn chair and the whole family to the park for 7:30pm concerts on Wednesdays through July 1.
